Join us this December for our Mini-Winter Workshop
Whether you’re looking to tune up your technique before audition season or want to explore Threads’ rigorous approach to technique and choreography, we’ve got you covered.
Our 2-day workshop has been crafted for advanced pre-professional & professional dancers ages 18 and up. The schedule includes classes in Modern & Ballet technique, Improvisation, Composition & Threads Repertoire taught by Threads’ renowned artistic staff, along with Guest Instructor Hassan Ingraham.
Please note that Threads Dance Project does not provide housing accommodations for this program.

$65 for both days or $40 for one day

KC’s class explores the vastness of our physicality through full body movement. This contemporary modern practice begins with a nourishing warm-up leading into larger personal investigations through spirals, the upside down, groundwork and soaring through space. Having been with the company for over a decade, KC's classes uniquely blend Threads signature phrase work with her expansive approach.
Choreography Workshop

This unique two-part class will explore the creative process with our Artistic/Executive Director, Karen, and company Rehearsal Manager, Karen Christ Aalgaard. During these sessions, participants will delve into various strategies designed to catalyze their own creative processes. They will also have the opportunity to learn excerpts from the Threads repertoire and gain insight into the specific methodologies and inspirations behind the creation of these works. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to expand their artistic toolkit and understand the intricate journey from concept to performance.
