Advanced/Professional

Summer Intensive

Please check back early in 2026 for more on Threads' Advanced-Professional Summer Intensive, known for its incredible diversity of class offerings in both Performers and Choreographers tracks.

This workshop offers an intensive, in-depth exploration of advanced dance techniques, designed to elevate both the technical and creative aspects of performance and choreography for professional and pre-professional-level dancers.

The program is divided into two specialized tracks: the Performer’s Track and the Choreographer’s Track, with participants strongly encouraged to register for both to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

Please note that Threads Dance Project does not provide housing or accommodations for this program.

Performer’s Track

Classes in the Performer’s Track will deepen your technical mastery and performance skills through a diverse range of styles, including Contemporary-Modern, African dance, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and more. These sessions are designed to push the boundaries of your physicality, expression, and stage presence.

Choreographer’s Track

The Choreographer’s Track focuses on the art of creation, offering classes in Repertoire, Composition, and Improvisation. In addition, participants will engage in in-depth studies on key topics such as Grant Writing & Funding, Show Production, and more.
